Kayak Clinic

This year The Capital City Challenge will be hosting clinics for each of our event activities. It is a chance for novice rowers, riders, and runners to get a grip on technique and general know-how. Anyone is welcome to show up and benefit from the instruction.
The kayak clinic will be our first in this series. It will take place July 25th at 6:00 pm on Magic Island. Eight to ten kayaks will be provided by the race committee, but you are welcome/encouraged to bring your own. Instruction will be provided by staff members of the local Cabela's.
Please contact us with any questions regarding these clinics. You can comment on this post, contact us on Facebook, or shoot us an email. RSVP to this event so we know how many people to expect.

Triathlon Season

Did you participate in the Great Greenbrier River Race this past weekend? Did the thrill leave you wanting to tackle another run, row, ride triathlon? If so, we'll be happy to have you join us in Charleston this September. Just make sure to stay in shape over the dog days of summer, find the equipment (or some friends with equipment), and sign up using our "Registration" tab. Then spread the word on Facebook that you have taken the Challenge.
As always, if you are a past participant we are interested in hearing your concerns and comments. We are dedicated to making this a headline recreational event in Charleston, and serving our participants comes first.
